Our purpose for processing data under this section is to maintain and monitor the performance of our website to constantly look to improve the Society's website and also the activities we do as a society.

What data we collect

We collect standard internet log information such as details of your behaviour patterns through Google Analytics.

Why we need your data

We need this data so that we can find out which parts of our website are working well and which parts we determine need improving.

What we do with your data

We keep this data on Google Analytics or on the Union's G Suite organisation (both are services operated by Google), or on our local devices. We process this data to determine popularity/success of our website pages.

Retention length

We hold this data for 14 months from collecting it.

Data processors

We use Google Analytics (a service operated by Google) to collect data about your visit. We do not permit Google to use your data for their purposes to the greatest possible extent permitted by their controls.

We sometimes use the Union's G Suite organisation (a service operated by Google) to store this data.
